I can’t say enough great things about HotWax! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Curtis and the staff always go above and beyond to make every visit special, and you can tell they genuinely care about the patrons. The Drinks are absolutely outstanding. Whether you’re grabbing something to go or spending time relaxing inside, the experience is always top-notch. I highly recommend checking out their weekly events. Trivia is not to be missed.

Great hang out spot in Ybor. If you're into Kratom they make a lot of specialty drinks which taste good and are pretty strong. Wednesday night trivia night is great, with unique themes. It's ran in house by Kurt, and he curates great topics and creates all of the questions. Overall a fun experience that is unique for Ybor especially if you're trying to do something not part of the club or normal bar scene.

The atmosphere stands out right away, music-inspired décor, relaxed seating, and a cool neighborhood energy that makes it easy to hang out for a bit. Great place to grab a drink, meet friends, or just enjoy the Ybor scene. Friendly staff, good drink options, and an overall chill environment that makes you want to come back. If you’re walking through Ybor and want something different from the typical café, HotWax delivers a fun mix of coffee shop comfort and bar lounge character.

We stumbled on this place walking down Ybor and were so pleasantly surprised how nice it was! The two gentlemen at the smoke shop were so sweet and let us know of some great deals they were having. The Glass Blowing area is really cool too! Our bartender Nate was an absolute gem and made us feel at home. I love the build-your-own tea menu option because my partner and I have severe allergies. Nate was very accommodating and recommended some options for us. We ended up with the hibiscus tea and butterfly lemonade. Soo good!! Excellent service! You can tell they really put a lot of work and love into their business. Everything was clean, cozy, and chill. Will definitely return for another visit! Greetings from Orlando yall 🦢✨️

HotWax Coffee Shop & Tap House is an absolute gem in the area! The atmosphere is awesome—a perfect mix of cozy coffeehouse vibes and modern tap house energy. It’s the kind of spot where you can settle in with a laptop, catch up with friends, or just relax and enjoy the laid-back, welcoming feel. The coffee here is excellent, but the café con leche is next-level. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Their baristas clearly know their craft, and you can taste the care they put into every cup. On top of that, they offer a great selection of beers on tap if you’re in the mood for something different, making it a perfect all-day hangout. The combination of incredible drinks, friendly staff, and an inviting atmosphere makes HotWax a must-visit whether you’re a coffee lover, a craft beer fan, or just looking for a cool spot to unwind. I can’t wait to come back for another café con leche and to soak in more of this amazing space!
